Hey there ! My name is Wade, and welcome to my web site.   I am a computer programmer type person by profession on the weekdays, but it's just about anybody's guess at what I'll be doing come the week-ends!

My leisure-time interests are Scuba diving, water skiing, rock climbing, and camping.  Of all these, my first love is Scuba. After only 6 months of diving (and about 150 dives later!) I became a PDIC Scuba Instructor. Having taught in the Austin, TX area for a couple of years, I then went to school in Fort Lauderdale, FL and became a PADI Instructor / Master Scuba Diver Trainer / Resort Operations Specialist, and went into the business of bubble blowing professionally.

After having spent a couple tours of duty on board the Nekton Diving cruise ships I decided to try to make a go of diving from Ft. Lauderdale. I hit the beach and went to worked for a guy who owned a small resort training dive outfit called Ocean Promotion Scuba and Snorkel Adventures. After a while I decided to buy the company and become my own boss. Lucky move (for him that is) that he sold me the business, as it was not long after I bought it that hurricane Wilma came to town and basically put an end to that endeavor.

Nowadays I am back to working in the IT industry at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Frederick, MD. I still teach Scuba diving with a local dive shop here in town called The Brass Anchor. You should stop in and see them some time.
